Nyenrode is the only privately funded university in the Netherlands and receives no government support. Our estate includes 27 national heritage monuments, including the iconic Nijenrode Castle. Three major restoration projects require urgent attention:

The Bell Tower – The recognizable icon of Nijenrode Castle, whose carillon fills the Vecht region with music during special occasions. Due to wear on the roof, lead, and structure, the tower is in poor condition.

The Collapsed Quay Wall – An essential part of the castle’s historic appearance, which urgently needs repair.

The Foundation – The very base of our heritage, which requires reinforcement to withstand the test of time.
